We help young people gain the skills they need to shine bright

Sherratts Wood Scout Camp (situated just north of Stafford) has approximately 30 acres of open field and ancient woodland, it’s the perfect location to hold a District, Group, Troop/Pack or even a small Patrol camps.

Welcome to Sherratts Wood
District Campsite

The facilities at Sherratts Wood Scout Camp include; the Askey Lodge (a timber building which includes a fully equipped kitchen). Male and female toilet and shower block (including disabled facilities). Our camp shop which stocks souvenirs, snacks and camping essentials. An open air Chapel for Scouts Own and a camp fire circle (a great way to end a hectic day of Scouting activities).

For the more adventurous campers or just for an evening/day, we offer activities such as Climbing/Abseiling, Indoor (heated) rifle range & Archery (some activities require our, or your own suitably qualified instructor)
